The proposed Budget Reconciliation and Financing Act* (BRFA*) for FY 2025 budget incorporates the 4th largest cut to community colleges in the history of the Cade Funding Formula — a $22 million reduction. However, the budget is not yet final, and the BRFA still must be passed by the General Assembly.

MACC is requesting that our friends in the legislature and supporters around the State ask their elected representatives to oppose community college cuts in the BRFA.
