Maryland’s 2024 legislative session is over. Considering the State’s budgetary challenges, it was a good session overall. Importantly, MACC was able to get support and pass initiatives related to

1. Cybersecurity workforce innovation and funding,
2. Availability of the Community College Promise program to noncredit students,
3. Teacher development and retention
