Good Jobs – No B.S.

Good jobs exist for workers without a Bachelor’s degree, but most require some level of postsecondary education.

Ten years after the recession of 2008, good jobs have returned but they are not the same low-skill jobs that disappeared. Almost 2x as many of the returned jobs are in the skilled-service sector rather than the blue-collar sector.

For most skilled-service jobs, workers need some education and training beyond high school. Community colleges provide a great variety of training opportunities that can range from a 3-month career credential to a 2-year Associate degree.
