Student Advocacy Day is our favorite day of the year!! We get to connect with our students, and they amaze us with their personal stories of resilience and determination.

On Student Advocacy Day, we ask students to share their stories with Maryland state legislators who vote on budgets and policies that will impact their educational experiences. Every student on each college’s team meets with and talks to legislators from their district. Two of these students are selected to address everyone assembled at the kickoff event.
