The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, ended the 2020 legislative session 19 days early. It was the first time session has ended early since the Civil War!

But the last few days were eventful with restored funding for community colleges and updates to Maryland’s Community College Promise program.

Several bills were not acted on due to the shortened session, and may be taken up again by committees if a special session is called in May.
